Development workflow formalized + workflow audit (v0.39.1)
DEVELOPMENT-WORKFLOW.md — formal build cycle:
1. CONSULT → knowledge base for right pattern
2. BUILD → follow the pattern
3. VERIFY → canary (imports + contracts + CSS)
4. CONTRACT → add contracts for new critical functions
5. AUDIT → full audit against knowledge base
6. COMMIT → conventional commit with version bump
Covers: adding features, adding modules, adding widgets,
knowledge base maintenance, audit schedule, emergency procedures.
Workflow audit findings (173 total):
- 24 modules missing from canary (17 actively imported)
- 132+ public functions missing contracts (12% coverage)
- 15 sqlite3.connect without try/finally
- Blocking I/O in on_input_submitted
- File I/O in on_input_submitted message handler
- 4 categories clean: RichLog markup, num_ctx, bare except, hardcoded paths
